Mission
ISACA CHAPTERS' MISSION IS TO HELP INDIVIDUALS AND ENTERPRISES ACHIEVE THE POSITIVE POTENTIAL OF TECHNOLOGY BY BEING A LOCAL PROVIDER OF ISACA'S BODY OF KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATION EXAM REVIEW, COMMUNITY, ADVOCACY, AND EDUCATION ON SUBJECTS SUCH AS INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSURANCE AND SECURITY, GOVERNANCE OF ENTERPRISE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT), AND IT-RELATED RISK AND COMPLIANCE. EDUCATIONAL EVENTS ARE THE PRIMARY BENEFIT PROVIDED BY ISACA'S CHAPTERS. ISACA'S CHAPTERS OFFER MEMBERS IN THEIR LOCAL AREA THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND LOCAL MEETINGS AND ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS, EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS, AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. THE PURPOSE OF THESE EVENTS IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE INDUSTRIES OF IT ASSURANCE, SECURITY, RISK AND GOVERNANCE, AS WELL AS INTERACT WITH THEIR PROFESSIONAL PEERS.
