SINCE 2016 THE CHRISTOHPER ISHERWOOD FOUNDATION HAS BEEN A SPONSOR IN THE ANNUAL LOS ANGELES TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LOS ANGELES TIMES, THE CHRISTOPHER ISHERWOOD PRIZE FOR AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL PROSE WAS AGAIN AWARDED IN 2023. THE PRIZE CATEGORY INCLUDES FICTION, TRAVEL WRITING, MEMOIR AND DIARY, TO HONOR CHRISTOPHER ISHERWOODS'S WORK ACROSS THOSE GENRES. THE LA TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS IS THE LARGEST LITERARY FESTIVAL IN NORTH AMERICA AND DRAWS APROXIMATELY 155,000 PEOPLE ANNUALLY TO CELBRATE THE WRITTEN WORD.
