Mission
THE PROG HOLDINGS FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO WORK CLOSELY WITH COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS IN THE GREATER WEST VALLEY CITY TO IDENTIFY ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES TO PROVIDE A BREAK FROM BARRIERS TO OPPORTUNITY IN THE COMMUNITY. WE CONTINUE BUILDING THE PROG DEVELOPMENT CENTER AND NAVIGATING A COMMUNITY-BASED PARTICIPATORY PROCESS, ENGAGING OUR YOUTH ADVISORY AND STEERING COUNCILS, AND ENGAGING WITH CROSS-SECTOR PARTNERS TO CO-DESIGNING PROGRAMS TO SERVE AN URBAN CENTER OF UTAH THAT WILL PROVIDE THE YOUTH THE ABILITY TO ENHANCE SOCIO-ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY. THE FOUNDATION HAS RECENTLY STARTED GRANTING FUNDS TO ORGANIZATIONS RECOGNIZED BY THE IRS AS ORGANIZATIONS EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE THAT SUPPORT OUR MISSION: DEVELOP THE PEOPLE AND RESOURCES NECESSARY TO LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD THROUGH TECHNOLOGY, EDUCATION, AND DEVELOPMENT THAT ENHANCES SOCIO-ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY. PROG HOLDINGS DONATED 483,512 OF EMPLOYEE TIME AND OTHER SERVICES TO THE FOUNDATION AND HAS ALSO
