Mission
Education Assistance: Friends of Kowak FOK works in partnership with several private as well as public schools in Northwest Tanzania to provide financial support volunteer time and communication so the schools can offer education opportunity to indigent students. School administrators and other community leaders identify students and assess financial need. FOK managers and volunteers have substantial involvement in administering the financial aid monitoring student performance and mentoring and maintaining continuing communication with the students. 45 students in partnering schools Kowak Girls School Baraton Girango Angel House and others were served.
