TO PROVIDE HOPE, EDUCATION, AND GRIEF SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO SUFFER FROM LCHADD (LONG-CHAIN 3- HYDROXYACYL-COA DEHYDROGENASE); TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO RESIDENTS OF THE METROHEALTH SYSTEM WHO ARE WORKING ON RESEARCH PERTAINING TO RARE AND COMMON MEDICAL DISORDERS, INCLUDING LCHADD; TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO PEDIATRIC NURSES ON STAFF IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS AT THE METROHEALTH SYSTEM; TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO CORNERSTONE OF HOPE (A GRIEF COUNSELING CENTER); AND TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO THE JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION SO THAT THEY MAY BE ABLE TO FIND A CURE FOR TYPE 1 DIABETES.
