BOY WITH A BALL IS FOCUSED ON HELPING LOCAL, INDIGENOUS-LED ORGANIZATIONS DEEPEN AND EXTEND THEIR WORK TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES TO RISE OUT OF POVERTY. BOY WITH A BALL'S INNOVATIVE TEAM-BASED APPROACH TRAINS AND RELEASES LARGE NUMBERS OF MOTIVATED VOLUNTEERS INTO A CITY'S TOUGHEST NEIGHBORHOODS. THIS GRASSROOTS METHOD HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY REPLICATED ACROSS THE U.S., LATIN AMERICA, AND AFRICA.
