THE PURPOSES OF THE RALEIGH KIWANIS FOUNDATION, INC. ARE TO ORGANIZE, CONDUCT AND CARRY ON VARIOUS PLANS, EFFORTS AND UNDERTAKINGS FOR THE GENERAL RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC, LITERARY OR EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT AND WELL-BEING OF THE PEOPLE OF RALEIGH, WAKE COUNTY, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, AND FOR THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF ITS PEOPLE. THE CORPORATION SHALL SERVE AS THE CHARITABLE ARM OF THE KIWANIS CLUB OF RALEIGH.
