THE MISSION AND SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THE ELK GROVE POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION IS TO BETTER THE WORKING CONDITIONS OF ITS MEMBERS BY IMPROVING SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC, PROMOTING A POSITIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT IMAGE TO THE PUBLIC AND BY PROMOTING THE INDIVIDUAL AND MUTUAL INTEREST OF THE CITY OF ELK GROVE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THIS ORGANIZATION, BY AND THROUGH ALL MEANS WITHIN ITS SCOPE OF OPERATION. IN ADDITION, THIS CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR LABOR REPRESENTATION PURPOSES FOR ELK GROVE POLICE OFFICER ASSOCIATION MEMBERS.
