PROVIDE AID TO VETERANS AND PROVIDE THE POST BUILDINGS AS A SOCIAL GATHERING PLACE FOR VETERANS. POST 290 ALSO PROVIDES A SPORTS COMPLEX FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS. POST 290 SPONSORS MANY PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. PATRIOTISM IS PROMOTED THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTION OF AMERICAN FLAGS TO SCHOOLS, CEMETARIES, ETC.
