SEWARD FOUNDATION INC. WAS ORGANIZED TO RAISE MONEY AND FUND PROGRAMS THAT ARE NOT FUNDED DIRECTLY FROM TAX REVENUES AND TO ASSURE THE CONTINUATION OF EXISITING PROGRAMS AWHICH MIGHE BE LOST TO THE COMMUNITY BECAUSE OF LIMITATIONS OF FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL FUNDING. SEWARD FOUNDATION INC. IS DISIGNED TO WORK WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF SEWARD, NEBRASKA AND THE CITY OF SEWARD, NEBRASKA. ALL GRANT MONEY PROVIDED TO PROGRAMS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE CITY COUNCIL PRIOR TO APPLICATION.
