Mission
Enhancing the lives of children and adults who desire to explore the emotional and social benefits of therapeutic horsemanship, through safely guided interactions with Icelandic horses. Participants engage in social interactions, relationship building, and group activities as part of the therapeutic services provided by the Foundation. Through working with the horses, staff, and volunteers, participants are strengthening fine motor skills, gaining trust, confidence and emotional honesty, and continuing to develop skills such as decision-making, problem-solving and critical thinking.
