THE ORGANIZATION IS INVOLVED IN BRINGING TOGETHER PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THE HISTORY OF CASTLEWOOD SD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. THEY FEEL THAT UNDERSTANDING THE HISTORY OF THE COMMUNITY IS BASIC TO OUR DEMOCRATIC WAY OF LIFE, GIVING US A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF OUR STATE AND NATION AND PROMOTES A BETTER APPRECIATION OF OUR AMERICAN HERITAGE.
