Mission
The fund achieves its purpose by (A) Supporting initiatives of the City of Chicago and its sister agencies that further such purposes, (B)increasing community, foundation, and civic involvement with and support for such initiatives, (C) providing mechanisms through which public, private, and not-for-profit sector resources can be utilized for such initiatives, (D) directing resources towards areas of identified need consistent with code section 501(c)(3), and (E) such other means as are appropriate and consistent with the purposes of the fund, and including all activities incidental or related thereto.
