THE FOUNDATION FOR SFJAZZ IS A CA NON-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2011. THE FOUNDATION, WHOSE SOLE MEMBER IS SAN FRANCISCO JAZZ ORGANIZATION, WAS SPECIFICALLY ORGANIZED FOR THE EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT OF THE ORGANIZATION. THE FOUNDATION WILL RECEIVE, HOLD, AND INVEST ASSETS FOR THE BENEFIT OF SFJAZZ, THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR BOTH THE OPERATIONS AND CAPITAL PROJECTS OF SFJAZZ ORGANIZATION.
