Mission

USAGAINSTALZHEIMER'S IS ENGAGED IN A RELENTLESS PURSUIT TO END ALZHEIMER'S, THE SIXTH LEADING KILLER IN AMERICA. OUR WORK CENTERS ON PREVENTION, RISK REDUCTION, EARLY DETECTION AND DIAGNOSIS, AND ACCESS TO TREATMENTS ALL REGARDLESS OF GENDER, RACE, (CONTINUED ON SCH O) OR ETHNICITY. BECAUSE ALZHEIMER'S DISPROPORTIONATELY AFFECTS WOMEN, BLACK COMMUNITIES, AND LATINO COMMUNITIES, EQUITY IS EMBEDDED THROUGHOUT OUR WORK TO ENSURE THAT THOSE MOST IMPACTED BY THE DISEASE HAVE ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION, CARE, RESOURCES, AND OPPORTUNITIES THEY NEED. TO ACHIEVE OUR MISSION, WE ELEVATE THE VOICES OF PATIENTS AND CAREGIVERS WHILE BRINGING TOGETHER LEADERS FROM GOVERNMENT, SCIENCE, HEALTHCARE, THE PRIVATE SECTOR, AND ALLIED ORGANIZATIONS-THE PEOPLE WHO PUT THE "US" IN USAGAINSTALZHEIMER'S.
