Mission
CHARLES K. BLANDIN FOUNDATION IS A RURAL-BASED, RURAL-FOCUSED PRIVATE U.S. FOUNDATION. WE SUPPORT RURAL COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT MINNESOTA, EMPOWERING THEM TO PROMOTE DIVERSITY AND EMBRACE SUSTAINABILITY AND EQUITY. WE CENTER EQUITY OF PLACE, RACE AND CLASS IN OUR WORK AND IN OUR GRANTMAKING TO NONPROFITS, GOVERNMENT, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND NATIVE GOVERNMENTS.OUR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM AND PUBLIC POLICY AND ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM WERE SUNSET IN 2022. ASPECTS OF THESE PROGRAM AREAS WERE REORGANIZED INTO NEW PROGRAMMATIC AREAS. INNOVATION AND DESIGN PROGRAM DRIVES INTEGRATION ACROSS PROGRAM AREAS TO INCREASE IMPACT. THE DEPARTMENT HOUSES RESEARCH, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR PROGRAM AREA.
