SEIU LOCAL 1 IS A LABOR ORGANIZATION WHOSE MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS AND ALL WORKERS BY BARGAINING COLLECTIVELY WITH THEIR EMPLOYERS TO SECURE BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS, WAGES, AND SIMILIAR BENEIFTS. SEIU LOCAL 1 BELIEVES IN AND WILL FIGHT FOR A JUST SOCIETY WHERE ALL WORKERS ARE VALUED AND PEOPLE RESPECTED, WHERE ALL FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES THRIVE, AND WHERE WE LEAVE A BETTER AND MORE EQUAL WORLD FOR GENERATIONS TO COME. SEIU LOCAL 1'S FULL MISSION STATEMENT IS SET FORTH IN ITS CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS.
