UNIVERSITY MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC ASSOCIATES, INC. (UMDA), IS A FACULTY PRACTICE GROUP EXISTING TO PROVIDE MEDICAL EDUCATION. PATIENT SERVICES ARE NO LONGER BILLED UNDER UMDA'S TAX ID. IN APRIL 2025, IU HEALTH MOVED ALL PROVIDERS TO A NEW PRACTICE PLAN WITH A NEW TAX ID. UMDA'S MEMBER PHYSICIANS ARE STILL PROVIDING PATIENT SERVICES, JUST NOT UNDER THIS TAX ID. IN ADDITION, CONTRIBUTIONS ARE MADE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE OF THE INDIANA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE WHOSE BENEFIT UMDA IS OPERATED, AS WELL AS FOR ACTIVITIES WHICH MAY FURTHER THE PROGRESS OF MEDICAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION INCLUDING PROVIDING REQUIRED FACILITIES NECESSARY TO MEET THESE GOALS.
