Mission
NATIONAL COMPLEX TRAUMA TRAINING AND RESOURCE DISSEMINATIONTHE FOUNDATION TRUST LED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMPLEX TRAUMA TRAINING CONSORTIUM GRANT, A SAMHSA-FUNDED INITIATIVE TO ESTABLISH A NATIONAL NETWORK OF 200+ TRAUMA TRAINERS ACROSS 60 FIELD SITES. IN 2023, 76 TRAINERS FROM 15 COHORT 1 FIELD SITES CONDUCTED 70 COMMUNITY TRAINING EVENTS IN WHICH 4,019 MULTIDISCIPLINARY PROVIDERS WERE TRAINED NATIONWIDE. IN ADDITION, WE RECRUITED 103 NEW TRAINERS-IN-TRAINING ACROSS 17 NEW COHORT 2 FIELD SITES REPRESENTING 14 STATES, 2 MAJOR METROPOLITAN AREAS, AND 1 U.S. TERRITORY (PUERTO RICO).
