Mission
The Foundation was organized in 2010 and was incorporated as a Virginia non-stock not-for-profit corporation. It is a 501c3 tax exempt grant making non-operating private foundation devoted to charitable scientific literary & educational purposes particularly the care of and prevention of cruelty to animals the support of the arts and the support of childhood education. During fiscal 2022 the Board of Directors approved the award of four grants to charitable artistic and educational organizations. A grant of $200 was awarded to WHRO Public Media the local public broadcasting affiliate. Grants of $500 each were awarded to the Richmond SPCA and to the Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals both no-kill animal shelters. Finally a grant of $3000 was awarded to World Central Kitchen Inc. an organization providing food meals & other charitable services to victims and refugees of the Russian-Ukrainian war
