THE O.C. IN O.C. 87 STANDS FOR "OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE." OC 87, INC. (THE "FOUNDATION") IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING AND PROMOTING AWARENESS OF OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDERS ("OCD"), AND ASSISTING PERSONS WHO SUFFER FROM OCD. INITIALLY THE FOUNDATION PRODUCED A MOVIE ON THE PROBLEMS AND TREATMENT OF OCD. THE MOVIE IS A DOCUMENTARY AND WAS DISTRIBUTED WIDELY AMONG HOSPITALS,SCHOOLS, MASS MEDIA AND THE PATIENT POPULATION. THE FOUNDATION PRODUCES AND FUNDS OTHER DOCUMENTARY PROJECTS IN VARIOUS MEDIA THAT HAVE RELEVANT EDUCATIONAL AND HEALTH MEANING TO THE COMMUNITY.
