THE DEVOS URBAN LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE IMPLEMENTED A PROGRAM TO IDENTIFY, TRAIN, AND CONNECT YOUTH MINISTRY LEADERS IN URBAN, INNER-CITY COMMUNITIES. IN 2023, 55 PARTICIPANTS FROM NEW YORK CITY, NY; ORLANDO, FL; SAN DIEGO, CA; FRESNO, CA; AND CLEVELAND, OH COMPLETED THEIR 15-MONTH PROGRAM. THE SELECTION PROCESS WAS ALSO COMPLETED FOR 57 PARTICIPANTS FROM BOSTON, MA; INDIANAPOLIS, IN; LOUISVILLE, KY; MEMPHIS, TN; AND PHOENIX, AZ. THE CURRICULUM WAS DELIVERED THROUGH IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES TO BENEFIT PERSONS IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS WORKING WITH AT-RISK YOUTH IN THEIR RESPECTIVE ORGANIZATIONS AND CITIES.
