Mission
THE MISSION OF THE TUFTS UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE UNIVERSITY AND ITS ALUMNI BY (A) ENCOURAGING AND PROVIDING ACTIVE SUPPORT AND COUNSEL TO THE ALUMNI CONSTITUENCY AND ORGANIZED ALUMNI GROUPS TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE SUPPORT OF THE UNIVERSITY; (B) SERVING AS A CONDUIT FOR COMMUNICATION AND INTERACTION BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY AND ITS ALUMNI CONSTITUENCIES TO ENSURE A MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL RELATIONSHIP; AND (C) COOPERATING IN MUTUAL EFFORTS WITH INDIVIDUAL ALUMNI AND ORGANIZED ALUMNI GROUPS, WITH THE STUDENT BODY, WITH THE TRUSTEES, AND WITH THE ADMINISTRATION, FACULTY, AND STAFF TO FOSTER AND CULTIVATE A CONTINUING SENSE OF COMMUNITY.
