PATIENT EDUCATION: OUR PATIENT EDUCATION INITIATIVES EXPAND ACROSS ONLINE MATERIALS SUCH AS OUR WEBSITE, PODCASTS, SOCIAL MEDIA AND ON PRINTED MATERIALS. NATF PUBLISHES A BI-MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, THE BEAT, WHERE PATIENTS CAN LEARN ABOUT GROUNDBREAKING RESEARCH IN THE THROMBOSIS FIELD AND GET A FIRST-HAND LOOK AT NATF'S UPCOMING EVENTS AND INITIATIVES. OUR WEBSITE, THROMBOSIS.ORG, IS OUR BIGGEST EDUCATIONAL TOOL FOR PATIENTS. IN 2023, WE'VE EXPANDED ON OUR RELATED CONDITIONS CATEGORIES FOR PATIENTS TO INCLUDE PERIPHERAL ARTERIAL DISEASE (PAD), CANCER AND THROMBOSIS, AND TRANSGENDER HEALTH AND BLOOD CLOT RISK. WE RUN ADS TO PROMOTE OUR PATIENT MATERIALS SUCH AS THE BEAT, ONLINE ARTICLES, OUR PATIENT SUPPORT GROUPS, AND RELATED CONDITIONS WE'VE FOCUSED ON.
