THE MISSION OF MADISON TORSKE KLUBBEN FOUNDATION, INC. IS TO SUPPORT ANY IRC 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION INCLUDING SCHOOLS, MUSEUMS, OR GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES IN PRESENTING PROGRAMS, COURSES AND SEMINARS ON NORWEGIAN HERITAGE AND CULTURE, AND TO OFFER SUCH PROGRAMS, COURSES AND SEMINARS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. TO OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE GRADUATE LEVEL TO U.S. CITIZENS TO STUDY AT A NORWEGIAN UNIVERSITY AND TO OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE GRADUATE LEVEL TO NORWEGIAN STUDENTS TO STUDY AT A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY IN WISCONSIN. TO SPONSOR CULTURAL EXCHANGES BETWEEN NORWAY AND THE UNITED STATES FOR PERSONS WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS OF MADISON TORSKE KLUBBEN, INC. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO ANY IRC 503(C)(3) ORGANIZATION TO PRESERVE THE ARTISTIC, CULTURAL, HISTORIC AND OTHER ASPECTS OF NORWEGIAN-AMERICAN PAST.
