Mission
The Marie Kessel Postdoctoral Fellowship Program has trained more than twenty psychologists. Kessel fellows are trained both in the clinical practice of cognitive remediation and in the science of doing research on cognitive treatments. They learn to write grants and publish so that knowledge about cognitive treatments can be disseminated. In January 2011, Columbia University commenced administration of this Fellowship and Pibly Fund, Inc. began planned semiannual donations to Columbia University to fund the Fellowship rather than continuing to compensate the individuals directly.
