A WIDE RANGE OF RESEARCHERS, INCLUDING UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, SCHOLARS, CURATORS AND CONSERVATORS CONSULTED THE FOUNDATION'S ARCHIVES, STUDY MATERIALS, ART COLLECTION AND STAFF SPECIALISTS TOWARD MONOGRAPHS, EXHIBITIONS, AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS. FOUNDATION SPECIALISTS ACTIVELY PROVIDED RESEARCH FINDINGS, AND GUIDANCE TO ORGANIZATIONS AND AUTHORS TOWARD THEIR PUBLICATIONS AND EXHIBITIONS ON WILLEM DE KOONING AND RELATED SUBJECTS, WHICH WERE WIDELY ACCESSIBLE BOTH WITHIN THE UNITED STATES AND INTERNATIONALLY. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO, THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS ONGOING COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF WILLEM DE KOONING'S DRAWINGS, WHICH WILL CULMINATE IN A DRAWINGS RETROSPECTIVE. IN COLLABORATION WITH THE GALLERIE DELL'ACCADEMIA, VENICE, THE FOUNDATION EMBARKED ON PREPARATIONS TOWARD A MAJOR EXHIBITION EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF DE KOONING'S TWO STAYS IN ITALY, IN 1959 AND 1969, ON HIS WORK. THIS EXHIBITION WILL BE HELD AT THE GALLERIE DELL'ACCADEMIA, VENICE IN 2024
